What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)? | What it is and why it matters?

Technology moves at rapid speed, and we have to know smart technologies aren’t only changing our homes. Artificial intelligence (AI) is the simulate of human and social intelligence methods by a machine, mainly computer systems. AI has been an interesting concept of science fiction for decades and it’s potential to improve performance, productivity, and accuracy across an organization, but many researchers think we’re finally getting close to making AI a reality and it will lead to machines and robots replacing human workers.

Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to machine intelligence or a machine’s capability to replicate the cognitive functions of a human being. Particular AI has the ability to learn, solve and explain the problems. In this computer science generation, these machines are aptly called “intelligent agents”, bots and applications of Artificial intelligence include speech recognition, expert systems, and machine vision. Nowadays Artificial intelligence is everywhere, from your device to your cars to your home to your banking establishment.

Assisted intelligence (AI):- This relates to the automation of basic tasks. For, Examples include machines in assembly lines.

Augmented intelligence (AI):- There is a give and take with augmented intelligence. An AI studies from human input. We, in turn, can make more right choice and decisions based on AI information.

Autonomous intelligence (AI):- This is AI with humans out of the circle. Think self-driving cars and autonomous robots.

Basically, AI (Artificial intelligence) is two types, Weak AI or Strong AI. Weak AI (irrational AI), is an AI system that is created and prepared for a small task. Strong AI (artificial general intelligence, AGI), is an AI system with generalized as human cognitive abilities. When performed with an unknown task like performing a dance or solving any question, AGI would outperform humans at almost every cognitive task, a strong artificial general intelligence system can find a solution without human an intervention.

How Can Artificial Intelligence (AI) Be Dangerous?

Maximum researchers admit that a super-intelligent AI is strange to explain human individual emotions and that there is no reason to require AI to become designedly helpful or malicious.

Although AI will hit every sector in some way, not every business is at equal risk. (PwC) predicts a nearly low displacement of jobs (around 5%) in the first wave of automation, but this could dramatically expand up to 20% by the mid-2020s. Occupations within the transport industry could potentially be at much higher risk, whereas jobs challenging social, emotional and learned abilities are at the lowest risk of displacement.
